The Golden Feather BBQ in Garden City

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD! Hubby and I choose one new place a month this was his choose!(Just started this year trying to feel better about life)NAILED IT!We both choose steak and ribs. PERFECT! Sweet and attentive waitress (Avery)We'll be back here for sure.

If you have patience in the waiting department..Then you will have a good and full meal.Customer Service is good...but ever so slow))))))))))))))))

Food was good, Ribs and Broasted Chicken, took essentially a whole meal home.Drinks not bad either.

Absolutely disgusting. $10 for a disgusting 1/2 lb cheeseburger that I could literally get elsewhere for half that price. Judy was the rudest staff member i have ever met. Waited 45 minutes for drinks and then another 45-60 minutes for my food that ended up with small portions and a well done burger when i asked for medium rare. I had better service at the Mcdonalds down the road.

Haven't paid a visit to GF in over 18yrs! Nice to come back to an establishment where consistency is revered and upheld! They've added broasted chicken which I had to try! So a combo meal of broasted chicken and rib combo! Ribs were meaty, juicey and the bbq sauce was exactly the same...Fantastic! My other diners had Chicken Shish kabobs, Pork Shish Kabobs and NY Steak with Shrimp, all was served with enough sides to feed 2ppl a piece! Needless to say to go boxes were required to take home the yummy leftovers. I do have to say that the size of the Kabobs were the surprise of the night, so tender, juicey, well seasoned and HUGE! Come for the ribs but get surprised by the Kabobs .....Priceless!

I've been coming to Golden Feather since about 87. Just before that, because your first remodel happened in 87, correct. It's a great restaurant, great staff. They have a waitress whose name I keep forgetting that knows me from way back. The one very slight disappointment that I have is, they don't offer ham anymore. I used to order the club sandwich with ham. Yep, that's me. lol. I'm sure there's a reason, and I've been coming back. For me, going to Golden Feather for as long as I have, brings back a nostalgic feeling.. :-) Try the fish too!

The food is good but dirty atmosphere and very dirty women's restroom

If you want to eat in a timely matter cook at home. please do not order take out close to closing either, you will not get fresh food. waitress staff is not good at all.

I had pork ribs, shrimp and broasted potatoes. The ribs were hard, and dry. The shrimp, a taste I can't describe but not enjoyable at all. My broasted potatoes were really good. Not a place that I would return to...

I usually refuse to allow myself to walk away with leftovers....! The rack of ribs did me in. At least I had a good time losing! Why didn't I give them 5 stars? Because baked potatoes were the one way I wanted, that they couldn't give, to go with the ribs... Sad. Good customer service, good food, but no baked 'tato...

Best onion rings and everything was spot on including the service the only thing I have to complain about is that they dont have coke which sucked but as soon as I took a bit out of the chicken and tried a bit of ribs it took my mind right off the pepsi

Love this place! Today family wanted something else but I always want golden feather. Food is excellent! Chicken fingers are to die for! My friend got the burger and said it was good meat and exactly want he wanted. My fiance had the ribs they were perfect! You get a lot of food! Waitstaff is amazing! It's also smaller so it's a homey feeling when you go there. Love it there and will always be my number one place!!!!

Absolutely great food the ribs are great the broasted chicken is awesome my favorite is the fried pickles!!!

My favorite place has now become a place to tell my friends an family not to visit. They are serving romaine lettuce, all of the food was cold an they changed the batter on the fish. . Brought wrong fries an we had to scrap the old ones off the plate an give em back. Service was slow an we asked to b seated away from a huge crowd an they sat someone next to us despite the fact the restaurant was empty.

The broasted potatoes were great but that slab of ribs was SALTY & just awful.. I really want my money back...They were also cold.. The service for take out was good.

This place makes hands down the best Greek salad ever. Portions are huge and the chicken is always perfect.

Service was ok but the food was great.

I picked up this order for lunch with my coworkers. One ordered a rib snack. One ordered ribs & shrimp. The order also included a wrap and chicken with shrimp. The hot entrees all had broasted potatoes but the amount was inconsistent. $1.50 was added for all white chicken. You would think it should've been two breasts but it was a wing and a breast. Two people didn't get the meal they ordered. Only one complained and she was offered a replacement meal but I think she should've gotten her money back too. It's horrible that a carry out order was allowed to be sent out looking like this. This is where my team had our holiday luncheon in 2017. 2018 we didn't have a luncheon. I won't recommend that we return there for 2019.

Hands down!!!! The BEST BBQ around. I was recommended this place by a coworker/friend and I was taken aback. The ribs were perfect. 10/10 no contest. Period. Game over. Everyone needs to go here.

The food was AMAZING this was probably one of the best meals I've ever had. And thanks to hard working staff who made our experience great Claudette and shannon. Love you guys

Fantastic food. The BBQ is really good. Beer selection is pretty much all domestic. But I would definitely come back again.

The absolute best kept secret in Garden City, Michigan. Never disappoints and always worth the flight from Florida!

Save your time and money!! Plenty of other local places to eat at. Owner and staff are rude, they are also not friendly to disabled children.

This restaurant is not worth the money and the service was terrible. It has been years since we visited this place and it wasn't the same. They were out of ribs which is crazy since this is a rib restaurant! They also were out of other items. When our meal finally came we were so disappointed! Such a bad experience!!! Miss the way Golden Feather uses to be. Oh yeah we visited on Feb.14, 2020.

Salty chicken and ribs!! They have definitely dropped the ball here. Horrible service only one waitress working while others stand around twiddling their thumbs. Too many subsitutes for the food or They had to leave and go get something from the store because they were out.

Had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Then WAITED for a whole hour for our food. They were focused on the large party of guests and basically ignored me and my husband. Finally the waitress was really great and she realized that they messed up by ignoring us and she comped one meal. This was the first time we have had a terrible experience at Golden Feathers. I hope this never happens again.

Not great, not bad. Ribs had too much sauce for my liking, I would order them naked and add the sauce myself. Coleslaw was lacking some serious color, only cabbage and maybe onions in it... But the sauce for it wasn't bad. All in all, the food was okay, but our server was on point.

We Had My Birthday Dinner there last night it started out a little confusing overbooking my party and another one at the same time but after speaking to linsey and her manager they made it right we had the space we needed the food was good and the wait staff were nice and pretty considering they had a lot of order to do .thank you for your time and making my birthday celebration a success .we will be back have a blessed day. It was a Christmas dinner! We had a good experience. It was enjoyable.

This was my first visit. The food was great, it was extremely family-friendly and the party I was with were on a first-name basis with the staff. In-fact, the entire patronage seemed familiar with the staff. 🤗 Although, at first glance, I thought the decor was dated and the restaurant felt old-ish, once I was seated with my party and saw the interactions with the staff, I felt the decor actually fit in nicely with the family-oriented appealof the atmosphere. The service was great, the restaurant was clean & the food was plenteous and very good. I will be returning.

I've been here before. The food wasn't bad. I guess the food didn't necessarily impress me either because I haven't been back since. But I had to try it at least once because I've heard so many great things about this place.

Came here with my mom today and as usual we had great service and the food was amazing. I love this place.
